We have had a few variations of this bag. This is one of my finest pieces I’ve ever made. Has an outside back pocket, a smaller pocket under the front flap and and interior sleeve for a laptop. front buckles are adjustable but have the best part of a quick release under the strap. Top flap has a handle on top to carry and the most macho shoulder strap with pad available. Zip this thing shut and all your stuff is safe inside.

This big-enough briefcase is just what the working person needs. I build it with heavy oil tanned leather to be able to take a beating, some water, scratches and solid use. External laptop sleeve on the backside so you can access your laptop with out opening the bag. Inside the main bag has ample room for folders and second laptop sleeve if you are really business-y. Back piece of leather is all one piece forming the top flap. This flap has two solid straps connecting to buckles to keep it closed in even the most extreme situations. These straps are also adjustable.

 

12.5" tall x 16" wide x 5" deep. Front pocket: 9" tall x 12" wide x 2" deep.
Laptop sleeve: 9.25" x 14" wide.

 

This guy has a heavy duty shoulder strap that is adjustable on both sides, the hardware is out of the way and wont be dragging on stuff. I put an extra shoulder pad on the strap to help distribute the weight. This thing is really designed to handle a load.

 

I have a room full of leather (as you would expect at a leather shop), which means I can make a backpack to your specifications. What kind of leather do you like? What colors? Need an extra pocket, strap, or zipper? There may be other options that you don't even realize exist. Each add on/option will add to the overall price.
